I am mixed somewhere between the French Dip and a Grilled Bacon/Cheese/Avocado. Today is the French Dip, it is... so good!

Monte Cristo sandwich or a good Meatball sub. Grilled Cheese is also awesome as well.

Can’t go wrong with a good French Dip. My other faves are the Rachel (a Reuben with cole slaw instead of sauerkraut) and a grilled cheese with bacon, a touch of mayo, and granny smith apple slices.

I just want a sandwich on Dutch Crunch bread.

I really, really, really need to move back home, or visit at the very least. :(

Sonny, true love is the greatest thing, in the world-except for a nice MLT - mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe they’re so perky, I love that.

The po’boy. Preferably soft shell crab, shrimp, or calamari.

I forgot, I like the Rachel, I do like that one. I have never liked sauerkraut but all that meat and cheese - yum.

Do you consider the cheesesteak a sandwich? If so, that’s my choice.

If not, the second choice is a Corned Beef Reuben.

I agree, though as someone else mentioned, there is a Rachel for those of us that are not too hip on sauerkraut.

It looks like the Reuben is the most popular in here, followed by the Banh Mi.

A Reuben, a good crawfish po’boy, or a chicken and waffle sandwich.

I didn’t know they had them with calamari, I’ll have to add that one to my list.

There’s a spot in Pensacola I like to eat at when I’m there that does a Grouper nugget po’boy. Little chunks of deep fried grouper on a sandwich? It’s awesome.

Many have mentioned it, and the banh mi is high up on my list.

However, my favourite is still the classic montreal smoked meat sandwich - smoked meat piled high between two slices of rye, mustard is the only condiment, with a deli pickle on the side.

As a resident (not a native) of the po’ boy capital of the world (Louisiana), I find the bread to content ratio of most po’ boys to be too heavily weighted to the bread side. The muffaletta is an interesting contrast to the common po’ boy, but it, too, has issues. I can only handle so much olive and olive oil.

Not a fan of the muffaletta.

I was in the french quarter twice last year for a total of nine days. I ate many, many po’boys. All so good.

I’m not gonna argue against any of these choices. I just have a suggestion for a quick and yummy sandwich that my family loves every time. toast some bread with a few chocolate chips on it, just enough to melt them, then spread with peanut butter. Add your favorite jelly/jam and slice some bananas over it. Enjoy. Quick and easy.

I’ve heard good things about them, but we never went in the 3 years we lived there. East Bay Crab House has some of the best fried seafood I’ve ever had though, but it’s in Navarre. I miss the seafood and Milton Quality Bakery donuts a lot.

I am a sucker for a good Italian sub. No Subway style, but full on prosciutto, salami, giardinera, etc. Aside from that, Italian beef and French dip (very similar) are go tos, and I will crave a legit pastrami from a decent deli.

I love Cubans too, but they seem to be harder to find.

I’m from a beach town in central FL, so at first glance it seemed like any other tourist-y seafood place, but it’s actually really, really good if you know what to get.

Same goes for Flounder’s as well(down the road from Pete’s). East Bay doesn’t look fancy, but their shrimp and oysters are great, and their fried scallops are the best I’ve ever had. The best shrimp I’ve ever had though, was from a hole in the wall in Panacea called Posey’s. It’s worth going into the middle of nowhere just for that shrimp(it’s pretty there at least.)

I think I’ve been to Flounder’s before. I’ll have to try East Bay next time i’m up there.

Did you ever try The Grand Marlin in PB? Holy shit, man. It’s a little pricey, but everything on the menu is insanely good.
